I always assumed he quit because he thought he wouldn't win another election and him just being generally sick of the game...though, I guess he would have won his own party's nomination again, right? The question get any trickier if RFK stays alive...? I don't know much about him, but could he have captured the anti-war side of things and made it interesting on the (D) ticket in '68 or not really...?

TIL that Frank Broyles (legendary coach of the 1964 Razorbacks championship team) is still alive. Also, TIL that the co-captain of that team was one Jerry Jones. :shock:

TIL that Slobodan Milosevic was cleared of war crimes by the United Nations' International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, concluding that Milosevic was not engaged in a the systematic genocide of Mulsims and Croats during the war. He was only exonerated in March of this year, 10 years after his death.
