I was just coming to say some folks on FB are up in arms about the new Col Sanders being a buffoon when the real guy was rather stately.

Cool Story Bro: My uncle went to medical school at Duke University, and while a med student one of his patients was a nice older woman named Mrs. Sanders. He's doing his rotations and he sees a stately older gentleman wearing a white suit standing in the hall. The name clicks with his patient and he goes up to the man and asks if he's Colonel Sanders. It was. According to my uncle, Sanders was really gracious and thankful for his wife's treatment. Later that day my uncle is walking back to his apartment from the hospital, and it starts to pour rain. Suddenly, a big white limo pulls up beside him, the window goes down, and there's the Colonel asking my uncle if he'd like a ride to get out of the rain. So my uncle got a limo ride home from Colonel Sanders.

The Sea World commercial that ends in the hugely patronizing line, "Because we love these whales.... and we know you love them, too."

They love them soooooo much that they refer their dolphins as whales. But education is part of their mission....

Most FAN commercials but especially Penthouse Club. Guy goes on and on about the sexy librarian and how he left with great stories to tell his friends.... About how you tried something and got kicked out by a 350# bouncer????

That obnoxious chick in the Panera commercial shoving salad in her face repeatedly - because "clean dressing" is sooooo darn good. LITERALLY makes me want to punch the TV. #instarage

The people responsible for the Subaru commercial where the guy is taking his 14-year old dog on a bucket list 'adventure'...... all of you can get your genitals chopped off. I don't know that I've ever been so bummed out by a commercial.

I've actually taken Subies off the shopping list because of that spot.
