Because they'll be on dirt tires and the pit lane isn't dirt, there won't be 'competitive' pit stops.

It is going to be fun watching them roll and topple over that lip down onto the concrete. ;)

The best part is going to be when they get the dirt off and then have to repave the whole track

Larson wins one in the 5 at Vegas. Gibbs cars were coming late, but couldn't get within 3 seconds of Keselowski, let alone Larson.

TV crew was debating team wins, with Hendrick 3 short of Petty Enterprises in NASCAR history. And the semantics as to whether Richard Petty Motorsports counts or not.

I have a feeling that Larson is going to really rake with Hendrick.

He's certainly go the talent, and I don't even consider Vegas a place where his car control would put him above the pack.

1992 Bristol History's Facebook page tells me. I'm sure we've made enough advancements in asphalt technology that it would hold up today.

Best thing about this is going to be the Outlaws in April - I intend to get the PPV for that :)

Bristol dirt weekend
I saw Hamlin said that aside from increased tire wear, he was mostly driving his car normally. We will see how that plays out in race conditions.

Bowman steals one from Hamlin at Richmond yesterday. Hamlin led half the race, but squandered yet another Richmond race where he had dominated.

Racing this year has been good, just wish they would get rid of the stages. Hate it.

Noticed from the last restart that they now allow lane choice in each row now, instead of just leader choice.

Double file is nice and all but I'm still partial to the old way. Lead up cars up top and lap down cars down below. Let them race their way back onto the lead lap the old fashioned way and finally get rid of the lucky dog.

Man, I had actually forgot it used to be that way. It's insane how much the sport has changed since I watched virtually every race in the mid-2000s.
