Neal winning in OT in Carolina, probably. (The Geno YES JAMES! game.)

Yeah, it's pretty shallow. My team nearly always loses when I go. My first Steeler game was them losing to the Bills in the playoffs in 1993. The last one was them losing to the Bengals in the playoffs in 2014.

No Hitter vs Astros with Cordova and Rincon (Was in the men's room when Smith belted the homer)
Penn State Vs Ohio State (Paterno passes Bryant). Although there was a brief time where this game didn't exist so I saw it twice?
Billy G scoring with .4 seconds left and Dupuis winning in OT was fun but nothing "great" about it.

Shout out to my dad who was in Three Rivers for Clemente's 3000th and final hit (I will probably never top this one)

Game 6 vs. Caps 2001 (Straka OT).
Game 6 vs. Sabres 2001 (Lemieux Extra attacker, Straka OT).
Game 4 of 2009 SCF (Staal SHG).
Sid's return vs. Isles (Sid's 1st goal).

Those stand out as the best few games.

Worst game was definitely game 7 vs. Montreal in whatever the hell year that was.

From a Championship moment, 1991 Bulls vs Lakers at the Great Western Forum. Game 5, Chicago beat the Lakers on the Lakers home court. I was gifted 2 corporate season seat tickets late in the afternoon on that day. Not being a basketball fan, I was going to sell them, but decided to take a buddy and watch the game.

First chance to see a live NBA game and we were 5 - 7(?) rows from the floor. Great perspective as to how tall the players are. I just remember the constant squeak of the shoes and going onto the court once the game was over. And the Lakers girls...

Pirates wild card game #1

Not even going to bother with worst game attended-this gentleman is a pitt fan, after all.

The two playoff games we saw in DC were in 2000 and 2001. The first was game 4 when the Pens were up 3-0 in games and the Caps managed to win by a goal, and the whole arena acted like they just won the cup. And the Pens proceeded to win game 5 to eliminate them.

In 2001, we were in the lower bowl in one of the ends, down around Caps fans. They couldn't believe we had tickets that low. Was a 2-1 Pens win, where Kevin Stevens got the GWG.

Neither quite as dramatic than the 4-0 deficit overcome in 2006 or 2007 where Geno got the GDG in the shootout in DC. We were down 2-0 by the time we got to our seats. But the heck of a claw back. Not gonna make many top moments lists though.

Others from our time as STHs we remember for different reasons. The Colby Armstrong OT goal vs Rangers when 87/71 had to get EQ repair and didn't get a whistle to come back into play. The Crosby OT goal vs the Rangers after being down 2-0. Seeing Mario a couple last times in the Fall of 2005. Seeing Geno's first game in 2006 (On Crosby Bobblehead night of all things).

Outside of hockey, the one Steelers game we attended in person that really stuck out was the OT game vs Cleveland at Heinz field that saw Kordell Stewart get benched in favor of Maddux down 13-6 in the 4th. And then Kimo Von Oelhoffen blocking a field goal with his helmet. Only to see the Steelers drive and have an attempt blocked on 3rd down. Only to rekick on 4th down for the win.

Game 6 in the 2009 Finals is definitely at the top of my list. Tied for second would be Game 6 against the Caps in 2001 and Game 6 against the Sabres in 2001.

nobody here will know this, and in the big picture its inconsequential, except to Washington Huskies fans. a game against Stanford where both teams went over 500 yards, and Cody Picket spun out of a sack to dive for the game winning TD with no time left.

First game I attended at the Civic Arena was Game 2 vs BOS in the '92 conference finals, the game Lemieux returned from the broken hand. I hadn't heard the news at all on the drive over from Altoona, so the first word I got he was playing was pre-game when they didn't announce his name as a scratch. As I recall, he scored two and set up Rick Tocchet for another.

Then the following season, I was at the game where Lemieux re-took the scoring lead from Pat LaFontaine after missing two months because cancer sucks. He had fallen 12 points behind in the scoring race when he started his radiation/chemo whatever. When he came back, in the space of around 20 games, he scored 56 points to ultimately win the Ross Trophy by..... 12 points.

Not really significant, but miraculous... Attended the final game of the 03-04 season which saw the Pens beat the Caps 4-3 on the strength of 2 goals by Lasse Pirjeta, one from Milan Kraft, and one from Kris Beech. Caron stopped both a 2 on 1 and a 2 on 0... Neither of which @wallflower saw because she "couldn't watch".

Also had an Edzo chant after he addressed the crowd after the game :face:

That game was so much fun. By far the best Penguins game I've ever been to.

Does it have to be great for me, or just great to someone? Because I was in the Civic Arena in 2008 when the Red Wings won the Cup.

Milan Kraft
 I loved that team when they went on that amazing powerplay run towards the end of the season.

This actually made me think of this game, which was great. I am 95% sure I was in attendance.

1) 2009 Cup Finals Game 6
2) Playoff game against the Rags where Errey scored on a penalty shot. Same game where Lemiuex took a shot that was deflected in the stands and hit an old lady in the head - gushing blood, but was OK.
3) 1988 Muck the Fets double header sweep.
4) Circa 1997 Round 1, Game 1 of the playoffs against the Devils. Scored student rush tickets right behind the Pens net, just above where the zamboni came out.

1998 Miami vs UCLA

Edgerin James had like 290 yards rushing. We were still not on the national radar and UCLA was #3 in the country and a national title contender. Fun day. My suite mate (who was kind of a turd and ended up being a turd on the Amazing Race a few years later) got beaten up by the cops afterward when he rushed the field. I saw it all go down. Fun day indeed.

I'm thinking that game as well. I've been to a Cleveland world series and Cleveland NBA championship game. But the WC game was tops.

Some good Pitt bball games. I remember an ND game where pitt blew a roughly ~15 pt lead with 2 minutes left (shocker) and won in 3OTs. One of the best games I was at, but definitely not greatest moment.

Steelers/Ravens Divisional round in 2011 is up there too.

Oops...how could I forget I was at the Wide Right FSU game in 2000. That was freaking insane.

I still watch that game. I almost put it in the other day while making an mp3 of Lange's call on the spinorama goal for a ring tone. Mikey didn't know what to say at first.
