I find it funny that Heady Topper already lost...and that it lost at all. There is a correct answer for this and thats it.

yeah, Heady Topper is my favorite, but limited distribution ruined it's chances to win.

Yeah, i've had a half of one before. Thats it. It is really good but I think part of the joy of it is that they make like a pint of it a year.

Kind of hard for a beer a lot of people have never tried to win. Not like this thing came with samples... now THAT would be amazing.

If you're a beer person though...well maybe you still haven't had one. At least people are not voting for reputation.

Northeast
4. Flower Power (4.24) - 4
2. Victory Dirtwolf (4.29) - 2

Southeast
1. Sculpin - (4.41) - 2
3. Cigar City Jai Alai (4.28) - 2

Midwest
1. Fatheads Headhunter (4.34) - 3
3. Two Hearted Ale (4.27) - 3

West
1. Pliney the Elder (4.66) - 2
2. Stone Enjoy By (4.43) - 3

I remember not being impressed with Flower Power, so the votes kinda surprise me. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but it felt like it was missing something.
Vote withheld in the Southeast
I like Headhunter, but it never stood a chance vs Two Hearted.
Doesn't Stone constantly chance the recipe on the Enjoy By series, with not all of the beers being IPAs?

Yeah, sucks that it lost, but I'd rather that than voting for reputation. It is one of the few IPAs that I enjoy more and more as it warms.

No need to revote. I carried over the votes and that will just confuse me.

Thought this might be noteworthy for some of the participants. This will be going on at the Hampton Caliente during Pittsburgh CBW:

Through Out the Week We Will Feature and Tapping 24 Highly Rated and Highly sought after IPA's. Each Night there will be an IPA Flight of the Night. We will give you the official Caliente Score Card and you be the judge of which is the best IPA. On the last Saturday of Beer Week the Winning IPA's of the previous nights will square off against each other. You will vote on your favorite of all the winners crowning a 2015 Caliente IPA of the YEAR which will be featured on special the Month of May.

This is important enough for me to get these beers again to try since all are accessible. I was really underwhelmed by Sculpin when I last had it. I feel pretty confident about Enjoy By over Headhunter at this moment.

Hard to vote against HH, but Enjoy By is simply amazing. At least the one I tried anyway.

Hh and enjoy by are a tossup for me, I went with hh just because I've had it more frequently and feel more confident in my recent memories of it even though enjoy by is excellent. Also don't know that it's fair voting for it if the recipe changes every release. I'm with you on the sculpin and I am surprised at how high it rates, I really need to try it again

I think it's the same each time. Might be slightly different depending on hop availability and age.

edit: according to this, it's the same recipe everytime... http://blog.stonebrewing.com/index.php/ ... oy-by-ipa/
