Selfie
"Brand" when referring to a person. I hate it even more when referring to a person who is not famous.

Mrs Tif reports that she doesn't really have words that drive her batty (she doesn't consider 'irregardless' to be a real word). What she hates is clearly improper word usage..... literally when you mean figuratively, things like that.

Shall.
The word "shall" in the legal world is supposed to carry the meaning "[named party] has a duty to [do something]." It's basically the same as "must." The problem is that lawyers—especially transactional lawyers—who are careless, ignorant, or both use shall to create conditional or permissive obligations, use shall to refer to entitlements instead of duties, or even use shall in situations with no duty at all.

I hate the term "shipped". I just listened to my wife and her sister try to explain it to my in-laws that fandom people "ship" characters.

The lack of distinction between may and might.
The former should be used when it is an issue of being allowed and latter for all other instances.

As in, wind a watch. A verb. Pronounced with a "y" sound, wine-d.
I *haaaaaaaaaaate* when **** heels like Steigerwald say something like "And he w-in-ds the puck around the boards."

Words That Drive You Insane:
If he were pronouncing it correctly I would still hate the use of it, this just compounds the issue.
