We really needed a solid day or two soaking here in Centre County. This storm is very welcome.

The difference in rainfall between central and western PA and out this way has been pretty crazy. In the month of August, I'm over 10 inches of rain already, almost half of that from Isaias. Meanwhile, drought watches and advisories all over your neck of the woods.

Yeah. We had voluntary water restrictions here. Haven’t mowed my grass in a few weeks.

Epic, epic day today. Sunshine with a few passing clouds, mid 70s, nice breeze and no humidity.

Brah... what a perfect day. We went up to bald eagle state park. Beautiful breeze coming off the lake. Was a great late morning adventure.

Yep. We did sesame place and could not have asked for more perfect weather.

Hopeful it holds up tomorrow. We are stopping in Strasburg for a train ride on our way home

Nice! You'll probably drive right by my house in Gap, if you don't take the turnpike the whole way to 222.

It does indeed appear our route will take us right thru Gap Pennsylvania.

I assume you will drive up the hill to turn right on 741 towards Strasburg. Don't forget to look out for the Gap Town Clock on your left at that traffic light. Aaaand that's about it here. We also have a great cheese shop off that intersection but sadly it is closed today.

With the obvious caveat that things can change over the next 72 hours, the bulk of Labor Day weekend is looking outstanding. Highs in the 70s, lots of sun, low humidity. Heat will creep back in Sunday afternoon with a storm chance on Monday, but could be a lot worse.

The fact that Omar wasn't a storm that was coming for the coast makes me sad with all the missed Wire references... Oh well.

Gonna be a very interesting afternoon/evening out here. I can't remember the last time I saw the 10% graphic on the SPC's tornado advisory.

Meanwhile, in Hilton Head, a "cold front" is moving in and will drop the temp after this weekend to a balmy 88 degrees, as opposed to 93 + humidity

I'm three hours north of HHI, and it has been miserable here the last half of the week. Upper 90s, miserable humidity.

I didn't get down there this summer, which makes me sad.
