Most of what I've heard for this new cover album is not very good. Weezer continued with their "we're covering songs and changing NOTHING about them" schtick. The others have been average at best IMO.

All Things Must Pass new box set is excellent. Probably a little overboard with demos, but it sounds excellent.

Oddly enough I just read her historical marker in Philly a few months ago.

@MR25 looks like you got a hell of a night 2 show! Hope it was awesome!

Billy Strings was fantastic. The sound at stage ae was phenomenal, I was very impressed. The humidity and body odor from the filthy hippies was not a good combination. We stayed in the back and had decent distancing from the crowd, kids wore masks entire time and that wasn't a problem. The smoking bothered my youngest, but other than that it was a great night. Lightning show over the city was gnarly

Glad you had a good time. I had some fomo last night but the smelly hippies help ease that. For some reason it never occurred to me that his fan base would be hippies. That seems so obvious now.

Both nights of Phish were great in their own way. Lot of rockers N1, last night was a bit more eclectic but still pretty high energy. I'm sure I'm not going to have a voice tomorrow and I'm definitely feeling like I saw two shows in two nights, but it was such a great experience.

It was a **** blast, man, can that band play. I had a kid on my shoulders while dancing the entire night, I'm feeling it today. Kids all said shirtless albino Jesus was their favorite weirdo they saw from the people watching.

Stage AE announces proof of vaxx/negative test literally the day after I spend an evening with 5000 creatures. Glad they are doing that now, but come on

Are phish hippies dead heads or is this a new generation of hippies?

Phish also literally just announced it after the last two shows. I wore a mask most of the time but kind of annoying.

I've come up with a theory that there are only 3 or 4 types of Phans:

1. The old heads who have been following them since they started.

2. The barely 40 crowd that got into Phish in the late 90s/early 00s. Some are parents. Most are the clean cut type.

3. The younger crowd who are split between being there for the music or the festival-type scene (read: psychedelics)

4. The wooks who don't shower, likely have dreadlocks or an unkempt beard, and smell of a combo of weed and patchouli.

Maybe add

5. Those that are so hyper critical of every little thing that Trey does, that you wonder how they spend time and money on the band and you actually wonder if they enjoy their music at all.

Here's a nice jam from the show. I guess there is a Mac Miller tease in there

Yup, it's a great time. (Even with all the adult SW cosplayers with their light up lightsabers) The Bowl is an amazing venue, and I've been there maybe a dozen times over the years. I moved here in '97, so the prequels were coming out and there was new Star Wars music to hear the first few times I went; Duel Of The Fates with a live 100-person choir is no joke.

They always have spotlights fired up when there are shows at the Bowl, but one night I went to see JTW they played the 1941! March and a small 2-engine airplane flew through the lights and it was very amusing.

She promoted it on Hot Ones a couple weeks ago, and she seemed much more chill than I would've imagined. Still can't believe she was only like 16 or 17 when she wrote Royals.

She is, you are right. I think the same thing about all of her videos. Doesn't mean she isn't enjoying it. It just looks like she's so GD bored.

I'm one of those "guitar face" people so I am bias.
