Yean looks like a long term project and Crowe someone that will be on the 25-man in 2021

Yeah, I think he’ll be good for Washington. But he still can’t play first base and was clearly checked out completely last year. He might have continued cratering his trade value a la polanco the longer he hung aroundDoesn't break my heart to see him go

Yeah this isn't the time to try and hope guys get value. This is the time to get a million prospects for the going rate for whoever you have.

Yean is 19 and Crowe is bad. Bell’s trade value was already pretty **** low apparently.

I would have rather they traded for Eddy Crow.

So Josh Bell MVP then? Probably will take him half a season of spring training for them to figure out his defense

My dad saw the news cross on the ESPN crawl and went off on his often-annual diatribe about how Pirates ownership has sucked for the last 25 years and that every time a player gets somewhat decent, he gets sent somewhere else for minor league trash. I don’t disagree with him.

Josh Bell has been trash for the last season and a half.

That big bonus draft class in 2011, with Bell as the post-first round centerpiece, was the first time in my life I remember feeling optimistic about Pirates baseball. Feels like a century ago at this point.

I’m drinking and watching a rerun of the pitt clemson game from 2016. Before i go look up a funny rant/insult about josh bell, i present this question: Who had a better Pirate career: Josh Bell or Pedro Alvarez?
Also who disappointed you more? JB or Pedro?

No boys, no he didntHeard Walk on the radio pregame talking to the hitting coach about Bell. Going into this game is exit velocity was at 94.1 vs 90.0 last season. Launch angle is up, Barrel % is at 14.8% vs. 7.0% last season, and his Soft/Medium/Hard breakdown is 11.4/45.5/43.2 versus 19.5/46.5/34.0 for his career. So yea, it seems like he's figured something out for sure.It appears that Josh Bell has figured it out
