Weird how only dads agree with that

Om/Kane has enough dad jokes to qualify imo

You should be allowed to use 2 hands in Jenga. The game would go on longer. Everyone is better off.

As I've mentioned before, I have super wide (EEEE) feet, and New Balance brand shoes (and Dunham, which New Balance owns) have literally been the only brand of casual/athletic shoes I've worn for… wow… it's nearly 30 years. I could wear brands like Nike up until I was around 13 or 14 years old, but after that point I literally couldn't fit into any of those brands because my feet had grown too wide and those companies didn't make any shoes in extended widths. My go-to shoe is the 706 "Postal," which is Postal Service approved and made (partially) in the US. I wish they made it in more colors than black.

Huh. TIL that New Balance no longer owns Dunham. That is not welcome news.

All I know is that after hitting the “purchase” button on the shoes, my favorite scent became fresh cut lawn.

Up until yesterday, all I wore were Adidas sneakers. However, have you seen the junk they create these days? They let everyone design their own lines of shoes, and they look like trash.

I only buy nike. Not sure why but the last few pairs I've bought have all been Nike. Gym shoes, every day shoe, outside work in the yard shoe etc. To be honest they are all a variation of the same Nike line. Just comfortable on my feet.

There is a Reebok outlet store in Charlotte that I go to. Dick’s and the like have a slim selection typically

Damn, could have saved a few bucks had I known about them beforehand.

If it was here or lgp, it might have been me. I recommend Asics to everyone after I had plantar fasciitis. That said, the last pair I bought are slippery as hell. I've fallen twice and slipped more times than I can count. Not sure if the rubber on the soles it too hard or what the deal is but I'm a little reluctant to buy a new pair.

Alabama man accused of feeding meth to a squirrel arrested
Investigators in Athens, Alabama, searched Paulk's home last week after getting a tip the man was keeping a methamphetamine-fueled "attack squirrel" at the residence.

"Narcotics investigators arrested one man and are looking for another after they executed a search warrant Monday that yielded meth, drug paraphernalia, body armor, and a squirrel," the sheriff's office said on June 18.

Paulk uploaded a video on Facebook after the raid from the apartment with the squirrel. He acknowledged that the squirrel is aggressive and had bitten people, but denied that the rodent was trained to attack.

"The public isn’t in danger from the methed-out squirrel in the neighborhood," Paulk said, with a chuckle. "He’s not on meth, I’m pretty sure. Better not find out he’s on meth anyway. I don’t think he likes that sh-t."

I have a really great pair of high end sandals someone gave me this spring. Not great for this setting, though.

I'm taking a weekend class at my law school Sat/Sun. The class also happens to relate to my current career so I am choosing to present myself as a grown adult in this context, so closed toed shoes it is.

That said, the guy sitting in front of me is wearing a generic NWHL shirsey so all bets are probably off.

What do you think the odds are that said classmate is related to the namesake on the shirsey?

I'll check the manual, but I'm pretty sure I can wear sandals at anything that ends in "school"...standby...

I'm embracing sandals in the non-beach setting for the first time in my life, and I'm 36. Please bear with me while I slowly wade into this alternative lifestyle you enjoy.
