Getting the boost tonight, which seems dumb seeing that Covid is over.
grab that flu shot instead. I have several friends who have flu running through their houses. one friend, his daughters have had it for almost a week and have had a constant fever of 103. their mom finally got it on Friday. they have all had their flu shot this year. :scared:

Spent saturday afternoon with the MiL. She started feeling sick later that night and tested positive today. Looks like Covid's back on the menu, boys. Had the booster but it hasn't been the full two weeks. We'll see.

Sister just tested + back in Philly. Really nothing more than a runny nose thanks to a student of hers. Not even sure what prompted her to test.

The runny nose was what prompted me back in March. I just got back from a weekend away with my wife. First time we had a weekend out and about. I was on my way out the door and something just popped into my mind saying "hey, go take a test." Not a clue why, but I did and it was positive.

Got my booster on Friday and had the same cluster of side effects as before; an unbelievable level of fatigue, injection site soreness and swollen node/gland under that armpit, and this time I also had the most ridiculous chills. I slept Fri/Sat night wearing a puffy jacket under two fleece blankets on top of the regular bed linens.

And LA County has reinstated the recommendation for indoor masking. I literally just stopped masking indoors last week. lol

I read your "yahoo," in the voice of the True Lies chopper agent when he thinks JLC is giving Paxton's character head.

I’m not complaining; I don’t care. I’m just wondering

to me COVID is now in the same category as the flu. I’ll get the vaccine and avoid people that know the have it but ultimately, what are ya gonna do

Honestly? I s**t you not, that is the exact scene I'm refencing almost every time I type that word, and that inflection is very much intended. :fist:

"Maybe she's sleepy."

True story: That's James Cameron's voice on the radio. (He's also the voice of the Harrier pilot later in the movie who's worried about the Mavericks setting off the nukes)

:fist: I say it out loud like that all the time, and no one ever clocks it, so it's really just me amusing myself at this point.

It slipped my mind, but I'm going to be scheduling my daughter's booster shot today. She is going to be thrilled. I think I'm going to plan for the day before Christmas break.

I still can't get my booster until around Christmas time. PCP suggested 3 months after recovering from my bout in September.
