If that was a receiver, he makes the catch. The problem with the play call is you run a jumbo then go empty backfield so **** McFarland lines up as a receiver and you ask him to make a tough catch. That’s dumb.
It was a tough catch because it was a terrible throw. The play going to him was improvised because of WAS's confusion on D; in the huddle 26 was probably the 4th or even 5th option.
