If you aren’t renting a house with enough bathrooms so each couple gets their own, you’re doing it wrong.

I think some logic can be applied here. Couples with kids get a room with a joining bathroom or maybe rooms with a day bed. Pet owners get a ground floor. Old folks get a bedroom near living room/kitchen. Early risers get ocean view
Adjoining.

I'd say first come first serve unless there's an older person/couple to give preference to or someone that did all the planning or something like that

We had a family reunion a couple years ago in Pidgeon Forge.

We rented this cabin for the almost 30 of us...

Main cabin was gorgeous. Private pool, theater room, large wraparound deck with hot tub.
My wife and I had to leave a day late to meet everyone down there. Before leaving, my cousin had figured out the rooms, but once there had to switch things up to accommodate certain 'needs'. Wife and I get there and find out they stuck us here...
Image
There was an adjacent 'cabin' to the main house. It was...okay...but not nearly the experience of being in the main house. For what everyone paid, I feel like we got half the experience of everyone else. I was not happy...but we were the last to arrive...
and the correct answer to this question is first come first serve, with exceptions for obvious accommodations.

Nah that doesn’t apply to the first come first serve rule. If you paid the same as others and got stuck in the **** house, you got screwed. They should’ve taken some off your share.

I was preparing to spend way too much money to buy a pullover online. I added to my cart and applied a 20% off code because it was my first order through this site. $14.95 shipping for a friggin piece of clothing. How outraged should I be? No way in hell I’m paying that much for shipping

I know it’s stupid, but I always just buy more stuff until I get free shipping. If I really wanted that hoodie, obviously

“It was 30% off at Kohls!”

Wow, honey so if you leave it on your 30% interest Kohl’s card it won’t be 100% for a year!

Old owner of my place had 2 Target orders delivered here.

I have no way of contacting this person. Do I just leave them in my place until I hear otherwise? Open them after X amount of time?

Don't touch things that aren't yours and then nothing comes back to you. No complication.

I had a package delivered to my house last year around Christmas to the old owner. I ended up looking up his name on instagram and sending him a dm. If it were me, I’d do a quick internet search for a way to contact the person. If nothing comes up, oh well you tried.

About ten years ago Mrs Tif made a substantial order from Amazon (I forget the exact amount, but it was several hundred dollars), and after a couple days it showed as 'delivered'. But we didn't have it, and none of our neighbors saw it delivered.

Mrs Tif had not yet updated the shipping address on her Amazon account, and the order was delivered to our old house. Hope they got good use out of the items.

Maybe a neighbor has their info. We've had stuff delivered to our house multiple times not only for the prior owner, but for the owner before them. Our neighbors were still friendly with them so they helped us get in contact with them.

Ooh, good shout. Maybe the HOA still maintains those records.
