Yeah I'm all sorts of in on that. Much better trailer than the first one. And that The Man Who Sold the World cover is bad ass.

Watching the 70’s Wonka with the kids. Gene Wilder is just unbelievably good.
I discovered while watching Wonka that when my wife thinks of "Willy Wonka," she pictures Johnny Depp. I've never liked her less.
This is grounds for divorce.

Same with my wife. She's never seen the original.

It’ll be fine but everybody will cry that it’s not as good as the original. Burton was exec producer for Wednesday and directed half of the episodes. He was nominated for an Emmy. I didn’t care for Dumbo or Miss Peregrine’s blah blah blah but I liked Big Eyes.

I believe he's talked recently about his Disney years and how trapped he felt. Sounded like he wanted to get back to form without CGI being the main character. I have yet to see Wednesday and didn't realize he did that

For those of you that still buy physical media for films, are there still commentary tracks and bonus features? I haven't bought a new Bluray or DVD in forever, and when I have, it was an older film. Just curious to see if they still record these, as streaming services won't use them.

There are bonus features, but they vary from movie to movie and I feel like director commentaries aren't as common anymore. Barbie didn't have one. You get more of behind the scenes stuff and other random features on most newer movies from what I've seen.

Yeah those BTS features are included on some streaming services also, fyi. In Disney+ they’re under “extras.” AppleTV includes some as well. But I do really miss directors commentary.

Yes for 4k discs however a lot of the time, the bonus features are put on the bluray that comes with it, but commentary is still on the 4k. For example, I just watched Rawhead Rex and George Pavlou (director) had new commentary on there.

They definitely put more effort into extras back in the DVD days (and even blu-ray) days then they do for the 4k stuff. What really sucks is that sometimes a film gets a new 4k release and they only bring over some of the extras from the old dvd/blu-ray...that really sucks.

The original Alien Quadrilogy box set is one of the gold standards for extras IMO. It had everything split over like 9 DVD discs. I can't remember if the Blu-Ray re-release brought it all over or not. Just so much stuff for each movie. Its why I keep that even though I've upgraded a few times along the way with those movies.

It was a nice surprise to see the new 4k of monster squad come with a separate disc containing the wolfman got nards documentary and skullman is correct, there is a lot of porting over of old extras rather than actually doing new stuff.

Also, I’m glad they killed off Jeffrey Jones. They should make Ferris Bueller Jr’s Day Off just so they could kill off Jeffrey Jones in that too.

And for that matter, Stay Tuned 2 while they're at it.

Yeah this is about what I expected. Low critic score, high audience score. I read one fan review that said it’s like a live action Real Ghostbusters episodes. That’s exactly what I want. Looking forward to it.

I'm excited for it. I thought the last one was good. When can I stream it?
