I'm sure they sound of ass and have no sustain, but this is pretty neat.

Phish is tonight. I can't contain my excitement.
what did you think of the show? I think it might have been the best all around show I've seen. Not a huge Prince Caspian fan but man that jam was off the charts! I always wanted to see them inside and was glad I finally did. The energy was great.

On a side note, Lawn Boy from 7/25/17 is pretty awesome as well.

I enjoyed it. I thought the one new song in set 1 was a little bit of a weird choice but they definitely brought it back with the Caspian. Mr Completely was really solid (first time I've heard it).

This MSG run has been pretty spectacular, too. Had to do a double take when I was checking FTR timestamps and saw the 30 minute Lawn Boy. Been able to listen to every show except the first one. For some reason that hasn't made it over to phish.in yet.

Saw Davy Knowles at Jergel's recently. They've really upped the quality of their acts. This guy is an insane guitarist. Highly recommend checking him out next time he's in town.

Death Magnetic? Really? I could see St. Anger, but DM is at worst decent.

I think the only other album I have ever owned on there was 311... and that was a **** CD. Back before I could just grab the 2 hit songs or listen to the album on youtube to find out it was trash.

As always, these lists are made to get attention... and it works.

Spiderland is a brilliant album.

As part of the Baker's Dozen run (13 nights at Madison Square Garden, with shows themed around specially released donuts), Phish just did a cover of "Chocolate Rain" for the double chocolate donut night. Kind of hilarious to watch.

List of other covers thus far:

Night 1 (Coconut donut): "Shake Your Coconuts" - Junior Senior, "Coconut" - Nilsson
Night 2 (Strawberry): "Strawberry Fields Forever" (a capella) - Beatles, "Strawberry Letter 23" - Shuggie Otis
Night 3 (Red Velvet): "Sunday Morning" and "Sweet Jane" - Velvet Underground
Night 4 (Jam-filled): No covers, just jamming out songs that are normally 3-5 minutes.
Night 5 (Powdered Sugar): "White Water Hymnal" (a capella) - Fleet Foxes, "Powderfinger" - Neil Young

I think Sweet Jane is the only one on here that they've played before this run (they did a full album cover of Loaded in 1998 for Halloween). Speaks a lot to their versatility, and I'm excited to see where they go now that the run is almost halfway done.

Ministry is playing Stage AE in October with Death Grips. Looks like it's an indoor show. https://www1.ticketmaster.com/ministry- ... #efeat4212

21 year old me would have probably taken a day off of work just to make sure that I was able to get tickets. Present-day JS is like "eh, maybe if I remember and there's nothing else going on, I can try to hit up a scalper and see if he's willing to part with a ticket for the right price."

I've got shears pointed straight at my chest
And time moves slow when you count it
I'm better than them, and I think I'm the best
But I'll appear at midnight when the films close

'Cause I'm in a trance
And I sweat
I don't want to dance
I want to go home
