Quite possibly the best band I never listen to.
If you dig blues rock, they're tough to beat. They're a band that I'm not super familiar with their non-single stuff, but when I hear it I'm always like, "They're good at music".

one of the drum and bass DJs that I started listening to in the 90s is playing Belvedere's tonight for $10. I almost kicked around going since tickets were still available, but it starts at 9pm and there are five opening sets before Aphro goes on. My math says he wouldn't see the stage until after midnight. Based on some youtube searches, he's probably doing a set that's slightly over an hour. That would be everything wrapping up after 1, me getting home at 1:30, possibly being asleep by 2 and up by 530 for work.

Nah, I'm staying home.

Interestingly, Smerconish and Waters happened to be staying at the same hotel prior to this interview, and they randomly ran into each other in the gym a few hours prior. They had an impromptu sitdown outside the formal interview and talked about some other subjects. If you have SXM, I think some of it is available On Demand. Not really a fan of Waters' music, but he's certainly unafraid to mingle his politics with his work.

I'll probably post this in more than one spot, but if you are sitting on Ticketmaster/Live Nation vouchers from the settlement (I had 17 pairs), they just released 7 shows at the Burgettstown venue (Old Starlake). Get 'em while you can.
