FEARS
HANDY
PANIC
MANGO
BANTU
BANAL
Double letters are tricky, I wasn't considering it until I got to guess 6 and realized no letters left made sense after "BAN"

The number of word opportunities really goes down if you hit a lot of greys on the first 2-3 attempts. I got only one letter on the first 4 tries - and then it was trying to come up with a 5-letter word using just a few available letters...I feel like so much depends on the first guess. If you guess a word that doesn’t have any greens or yellows then you’re up **** creek
Wordle
If you smash five common letters with it, you're in good shape I feel like. Because we don't use another four or five letters...so now suddenly you're in a vaguely 16-letter situation after one guess...because words with z's or q's or whatever are usually pretty easy to identify...I feel like so much depends on the first guess. If you guess a word that doesn’t have any greens or yellows then you’re up **** creek
It also grays out the used letters on the keyboard, so it kinda helps you narrow it down quite a bit.

WHALE
TRAIL
NOUNS
NAVAL
CANAL
BANAL
First guess was because of the clue, so then it was clear that was not the case. Trail cause I wanted to check T and R. Then nouns for the vowels. The naval guess was because at that point, there had to be two A's. So then it was clear the word was _ANAL. Was very confident with CANAL, and luckily I don't think there is another word that could have even gone there.

I had every issue possible. Didn't get the idea right until after the third guess. Got it in 6. I feel like it could be hard to not get one at all

Got in 4 again
I focus on letters first, words second. Didn’t even know my second guess was a word.

Managed to not get any letters with my first guess, but got it in four thanks to a fortuitous third try

Used one of yours mikey
I think using different letters the first two tries, no matter if you get a yellow or green on the first try, is a good strategy. It eliminates a lot of the letters and after that, there are only so many word combinations.

Maybe, but if I chance into two greens or a green and a yellow on the first try I'm going for it in 2.Used one of yours mikey

Four today. Oddly I only had one open tile on the fourth guess and still couldn't think of the word, had to go through the remaining bank of letters until it jumped out at me.
