I was a registered Republican, but then switched to Democrat a couple months before the primary in order to vote for Biden. Will probably switch to Indy after the election

I don't get not being in a party given the existing election system in PA. I do understand the appeal of being an independent but if you "join" a party you have a say in their nominee. Let's say your preferred candidate is running unopposed, join the other party so you can choose a weak candidate on their side.

In CA, even as an independent you can participate in the Dem primary. The GOP primary is for party members only, however. I'm okay with that.

There just aren't enough people motivated enough to trip those scales to do what you're suggesting in any sort of meaningful capacity.

I think the Federal Government is basically a money laundering organization (among other things) so I don't overtly involve myself in it.

Not looking for an argument but true reasoning if any Trump voters are willing to put themselves.

How are these pieces ignored or rationalized?

*200,000+ dead due to gross mismanagement of the pandemic. (Leaving it up to the states because Kushner said it was mostly affecting blues states is appalling)

*inability to denounce white supremacy, “very fine people” and wouldn’t do it in a debate when asked point blank
