Mitchell’s vs The Machines on Netflix is about as good as it gets for silly movies to watch with the kids.

We're watching Curse of Michael Myers tonight, which is one of my least favorite. I forgot how good 4 is.

We are going to probably watch 1,2, 2018 this week in preparation for Kills. I know that 2 technically isn't cannon at this point, just 1 and 2018, but I have a soft spot for it. I want to watch H20 again too at some point.nocera wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 10:59 amI'm just happy that my Peacock sub is finally going to pay off.skullman80 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 10:43 am Halloween Kills tickets purchased for 8:50pm on Friday night.

4 is a good movie, 5 is reallly bad. Knowing all the changes and stuff it went through was interesting, but its still a bad movie no matter what version you watch.

Yeah it's super disjointed. I don't know about the changes but it feels like the Curse of Thorn **** was added last minute to try to tie into the next film. That's my least favorite stuff in the whole franchise. Give me the Busta internet shot over the curse of the thorn.skullman80 wrote:Source of the post 5 is reallly bad. Curse of Michael Myers is every bit as bad as I remembered. And it got me thinking of the timeline. So we have 1-6, the H20 timeline (1,2,H20,Resurrection), and the new timeline of 1, 2018, Kills, Ends. Did I miss any?

You have them all.. besides the Rob Zombie films being their own reboot as well basically I guess. I try to forget those exist though. Also technically I guess it's 1,2,4-6 as 3 is it's own thing.
Put in a spoiler because the picture is huge.

We ended up going through the entire Scream series after watching the first. The 2nd is not bad, the 3rd is awful, and I thought the 4th one that came a decade later was pretty good too. Nothing touches the original though.
We also watched The Strangers last night with Liv Tyler? I feel like I've seen it before, but I thought it was good, and those movies tend to mess with me alot more than slashers do because of the realness. My wife was checking all the rooms in the house before we went to bed last night haha.

I watched The Strangers once and that was enough for me. Gimme a lifetime of slasher movies before a **** home invasion thriller.

It's just about a perfect film. A couple of the jokes don't quite land, but it's 99% flawless.NTP66 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 6:21 amOhhh, this is one of my favorites.AuthorTony wrote:Source of the post Arachnophobia

Agree on the Scream series. It's amazing what a hot mess 3 turned out to be. I'm looking forward to part 5 which should be out early next year.skullman80 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 7:09 am We ended up going through the entire Scream series after watching the first. You should check out Strangers 2. It's more of of a slasher but has some great 80s vibes. It's more "fun" and far less intense than the original.
