I photographed a senior guy on Sunday. Every time we parked at a different location to take photos, he brought his phone from the car, glued to it while we walked to the spot, and only put it down once he was in place. As soon as we finished pictures at a given spot, he was focused on the phone again. This happened at every single location, probably 6 in all. Even his parents were telling him to leave the phone in his car, but he wouldn't. Kids.

Should have just taken the pictures whilst he was phoning. Would have been more sincere.

Manhattan Apartment Sales Surge to Three-Decade High

More apartments sold in the third quarter than at any other time in more than 30 years, as the New York market continues its recovery.

I was told by conservatives everywhere that NYC was dead though!!!

I read this until the last sentience wondering why a senior citizen would hire you for a photo shoot.

I am not doubting the data, but how many of these properties are being scooped up by private equity/hedge funds?

Yeah... if 5-7 years from now we decided to sell and move, I really want to make sure I'm selling to a family or individual. The housing market sucks and it's only getting worse with those who have the accumulated wealth flexing their muscles...

I feel like assaulting a teacher should be permanent expulsion from whatever district/system the student is in. That's not so much a bridge too far as it is an entire roadway network too far. How does this even become a thing.

Ha. My first or second year in business I ran an ad in the local rag advertising 8 free wallets with any senior photo shoot. Some little old lady called and wanted to know how she could get her free wallets. I explained that it was for high school seniors and wallet-sized photos. She was very displeased.

I agree, it would be very discouraging for the congress to legislate!

Andrew Yang leaves Democratic Party.

Good for him and as an unaffiliated person I appreciate the message and effort. Unfortunately his chances went from almost none to exactly none.

Da fuk?

He must be pissed that Trump is running again.

Remember that he made his name through the Benghazi investigations.

Context would help. What was he saying on Fox? If he went on to do nothing but **** on Democrats, then yeah, peace.

Once an dadhole, always an dadhole. How one party can hold the entire country hostage no matter who is in office is beyond me.

I’ve been told everything in gov is a both sides issue, everyone sucks, and there is nothing to worry about.

The people who say that are nothing short of ignorant. These pieces of **** did whatever they wanted over the last 4 years, and now refuse to do anything to address the issues that stem directly from their choices.

Honest question, don't the Dems have the majority and could increase the debt ceiling w/o any GOP votes? My understanding is they have other avenues to do that as well.

And with regard to the spending bill, they can't even get on the same page in their own party, where the progressives want to go the entire 3.5T vs some moderate dems wanting to spend less (although more than the 1.5T the Republicans want).

I dont' think anyone is holding anyone hostage. Making more difficult, yes.

I mean, any insight from people that follow this a lot more closely, I'll take it. But that is my understanding of the situation.
