Gotta love being held hostage by a party that has done absolutely nothing to help anyone out, and has openly admitted to refusing to vote in favor of anything brought to the table by the Democrats, as well as two pieces of **** in their own party. Where’s that meteor when we need it?

Nothing on that chart surprises me much - except the vastly different flows for North and South Dakota...

I wouldn't want to live in any of the top inbound states. Maybe Oregon, but that's still pretty far down on my list.

It's nothing against those places. I just prefer somewhere cool and dreary. Heading south would be my last option.

I'm with you. At least on the cool part. Maine, New Hampshire, Alaska, Montana, those are the types of places I told my wife we are going to retire to. She told me she'll fly up from Florida over Xmas.

Maine tops my list. I'd be good in any of Maine, VT, NH, northwest CT, etc. The only area in the south I'd even consider is western NC, up in the mountains around Boone.

Wyoming for me. So far from civilization that if I have a medical emergency, I might as well dig my own grave instead of dialing 911

I have a Zillow search alert on property there too. It's crazy how expensive land and shacks are in WY.

I’d probably go with St. George, UT. Nice dry climate, scenic national parks, all kinds of weather nearby, couple hours from Vegas, 5 or 6 hours to the beach. And You can in fact buy decent beer there.

On Route 30 between here and Lancaster, there is a guy that sets up a trailer next to a diner and sells all manner of Trump/anti Biden flags and other goods. It's an absurd amount of flags that are waving driving by.

There were at least a dozen people there yesterday browsing. It's brilliant, tbh. The markup has to be significant.

more like “the winters”

I can’t imagine retiring somewhere I can’t leave the house for 3 months if the year. And keep in mind I lived in NY for 24 years

I feel the same, but we’ll most likely end up in western NC. My wife is not a fan of the harsher winters of the northeast.
