My son has been doing #3 and puking for two days. He seems to be on the mend. My wife just started doing both at the same time. My daughter and I are unscathed.... So far.
I'm sitting on the couch watching the Pens with an existential dread I can't describe.

Update: My daughter is no longer unscathed. Pile of chunks on carpet. I have Vicks smeared under my nose and two masks on.

Ugh, had the same thing happen to us around New Years, shaf. I was also last in line to get everything. I never did puke, but had the shits and felt horrible for a day or two.

Just got a statement from my health insurance. My year-to-date claims are $116,639.48. The year-to-date is 9 weeks old.

No, but it does include denied claims for close to $1,000 for the out-of-network pathologist that reviewed my labs. They still show as $0 patient responsibility, but who knows if I'll ever get that bill.

My bill was 400K+ and I ended up paying 10K.

In early Feb I had carpal tunnel release surgery done on my left hand. Scheduled my right for April 14. Now my Dr no longer performs surgeries at the hospital, only at a surgical center. For some reason my sleep apnea disqualifies me from having surgery at this center? Anyway. Wonderful, now I probably have to start this process all over again.

That's standard procedure for a surgical center, and really, you want to be in an actual hospital should something happen. Ask your doc for recommendations - I'm sure they can get you situated with somebody who still operates in the hospital.

Has anyone had a stomach bug the past week in the pittsburgh area? My family including myself have been ravaged by it and I’ve had a bunch of friends with the same thing. Has to be norovirus I’m thinking
