COVID-19
There are a lot more cases popping up in my circles. This kinda feels like it did at the end of June. I have a feeling there are going to be a few dicey weeks.

Trumpworld 'Rona Tracker..good rundown: https://www.axios.com/trump-republicans ... bf2f7.html
Apparently he has mild symptoms and is feeling "fatigued". Oh man, this is going to be an interesting month. So many what if scenarios. If he feels better by the second debate, he won't stop talking about how strong he is and beat the "China virus" etc. Gotta wonder about long term effects though.
Also, apparently his SCOTUS pick had covid over the summer but recovered..imagine if she was the spreader from last Saturday? https://www.thedailybeast.com/amy-coney ... eport-says

If she had it over the summer she didn't spread it to anyone last weekend.
It doesn't work like that.

Coronavirus vaccine trial participants report day-long exhaustion, fever and headaches — but say it's worth it

Ugh, that doesn't sound fun. I'd still take it, but seems somewhat dangerous.

I tend to agree but do we REALLY know that? no, we don't. we think we do but we don't know.If she had it over the summer she didn't spread it to anyone last weekend.

more likely is that any number of (maskless) people at her SCOTUS announcement could have been spreading it all over the place.

Actually they do know fairly well. You are contagious for about 10 days or so and then they cannot detect any live virus.I tend to agree but do we REALLY know that? no, we don't. we think we do but we don't know.If she had it over the summer she didn't spread it to anyone last weekend.

Read a similar article earlier this week. It does sound like it’ll suck for a day or so, but they all said that they were feeling much better by day two. The symptoms are all safe, too. If this is the price to pay, so be it.Coronavirus vaccine trial participants report day-long exhaustion, fever and headaches — but say it's worth it

I think there have only been two confirmed cases of people getting it again. The WHO estimates 750 million have had covid. Which would imply an IFR of around .13%.

Trump was given an “antibody cocktail” from Regeneron this afternoon. It’s a “compassionate care” waiver to allow its use outside its current trials in the north east.
Not sure there’s anything to read into that, except somebody obviously thought it was the best choice available at this time.

Chris Christie tests positive after meetings with people from the WH. Guess the WH is not the place to be right now.

I would say 14 out of 42,400 is acceptable.
As for the rest, whatever.
