That was a wild storm. Don’t think I’ve ever quite seen lightning like that

My son this morning: “Hey Google, how many trees fell down last night?”

Power outage combined with fire whistle is a nice touch.

The fire whistle turned out to be a house at Glengarry golf course that was struck and caught fire.

My sons sidewalk chalk art is still on the walks so we must not have gotten too much rain

Actually a border collie-mini aussie, mac.
They updated the path six blocks south, and said it was only an EF-0 when it passed us. As it exited that picture it strengthened to a EF-1 w/ 100 mph winds.
Also, it probably passed the house at 11:28 or 29 based on their tracking, and the warning got issued at 11:31 so that's nice.

Can semi see them here but for some reason the phone REALLY picks it up. Kinda weird

Yeah same here. We could see it decently but much better through the phone.

I set my alarm for 4 to see if it was still cloudy, and my alarm never went off. Woke up at 6 to see the sun streaming through the window

10:30/11ish.

My wife was taking pictures of them until like 2 AM. Naked eye you would see feint gray blobs in the night sky. Take a picture and it's all pink and green. Super weird.

Ah. I went out at like 11:30 to look and didn't really see anything except stars so I thought I missed it.
