If you don't like kids don't go to a vacation spot where they will be. Seems pretty simple to me.

This is why I vacation exclusively at strip clubs and liquor stores. No chance of triggering micro-aggression in free range parents.

I totally understand his sentiment though, even though I disagree. I would have thought the parents would have been suited enough to tell their kids it's not appropriate to be on stage.

Agreed. While I think the parents in this case are total A-holes (They wouldn't have happened to have been from the NYC surrounding area would they?), it's folly to suggest that if you don't agree with "run-a-muck" kids, then you should only go to kids free resorts.

That's just BS. What happened to personal responsibility? They're YOUR kids, in an environment other than Chuck e. Cheese (even then...) CONTROL THEM.

When a customer brings there repair in and asks you to look at it that very moment. Doesn't call in, doesn't give any type of notice, and I had to look at and repair the guys device. Meanwhile I don't even look at the returns, only had to because the guy that does can't speak English well. Buffalo Trace will be drank this evening.

I can't remember where we were having the kids conversation but something happened on vacation that made me want to slap the parents in the face.

Each night at our resort they had a entertainment stage where a live band would play music. The first night, they asked people to come on stage and dance for one song - to which children at the resort ran up and danced, then would refuse to get off the stage when that song was over. The singers had to ask the parents to remove the children.

Night two, the children went up to dance and ran around the stage and the parents just stood there, watched, laughed, took pictures all the while the performers were looking at them like they were idiots. They again had to make the announcement.

Night three, same thing happened - the kids ran up and actually started pulling on the shirts of the guys with the mics trying to get their attention - the parents stood by whooping and laughing.

This continued for the remainder of my vacation - my questions - what gives parents the right to think that everyone wants to see their kid act this way? I found this to be incredibly disrespectful to the performers as they became visibly agitated each time, as well as the crowd who went to see the show.

I think out of all the things parents do, this skyrocketed to the top of my list.
First, you'd think the band would have learned the first night, or the second.
Second, I hate those parents too. My kids would have been drug off the stage by their ear.

PS-It was a separate thread on flying with kids, but this one works.

To me, it sounds like the band planted corn.
