I would like to see Chirpy here....agree with him ir not, he brings the passion.

I have no problem with Chirpy. I actually don't know why it bothers some if someone has a different opinion. Plus, I think he's gotten better at explaining his points over the season and I actually enjoy his hockey comments. OK, so he's not happy with the team and he doesn't hide it. Like me. So there.

Honestly, all I care about is that people get along and don't get into silly fights on here.

If he only posted once per day, it'd be fine. But every post says the exact same thing about the exact same players. He's like that "coach" you had as a youth player...but he's really just some kid's dad who just happened to be sitting closest to the bench one day, yelling random stuff...

At first, you're like, "ok, this is all right..." and then after a while, you realize that he only knows like three things..."keep the middle", "keep your stick down" and "don't chase"...but nothing a real great substance...eventually, you just tune him out...

I just emailed Doc to say hi, thinking it's EPP. Damn it. EPP was always cool with me and I never knew what bothered other people. I guess I never noticed it. All I know is he said something nasty to Canaan during the big fight night, but no one told me what. Can we all just get along, please?

As it relates to EPP, there is no one here responsible for not getting along. He was 100% of the problem.

I honestly never noticed it. He was always very respectful toward me. But I don't always spend much time in the pol. thread these days as I'm fed up with the whole thing, so was it there, perhaps? Oh, well. Maybe you guys know better.

OK, that I can see. I myself learned to just say my thing and go. It's very difficult to convince someone else on a forum if they have a different opinion. Plus, why would one care what anyone else thinks. It's a good policy.

I thought EPP was pretty cool until he totally went off on me once in the pol. thread. It was really over the top and uncalled for. He wasn't a bad guy, just very certain that his opinions were correct.

I got a warning for posting a gif of a girl (Lindsay Lohan maybe), where she wore a sweater and was completely covered, just moved to the side and her boobs bounced once. Nothing dirty, nothing exposed. Same week Three Stars, whom I like btw, posted something much more revealing, as did PF. And Dagny herself soon after that made a bikini thread (she wanted to buy a bathing suit or something) with a big picture of chick in a bikini. All 3, much worse than what I posted and I got the warning, then got yelled at for asking why.

I posted a little gif of a dude waving his hand when everyone was talking about a bromance between two Penguins. It got deleted and I honestly didn't know why, so I asked in the room why it was gone. I didn't protest or argue, I was just confused and didn't know what happened. So I got a warning just for asking and then got yelled at for contesting a mod or whatever they call it. Just shut up and read the rules and it's your problem if you don't get it.

I have a lot of respect for RJ and understand his need to keep a clean forum, but it's so difficult on there.

Three stars is a doctor, and knows doctor things. Draftnik started arguing with him about the medical details of concussions. He was so out of his league it was embarassing. And it went on. And on.

I always respected Draftnik's point of view, but if you got into a discussion with him from an opposing view, man, it could go on forever.

If I ran an all-adult forum, we'd have porn chicks on it. But I can see RJ's view, as well others' who may feel this way, since there are many people here with kids who may be into Penguins and want to read, and many people also browse from work where they might get fired. I mean, I can't just think of myself. I have to take others' situations into account. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing bikini babes on here.

As far as swearing, same thing, although what I wouldn't want the forum to turn into is like that big Flyers forum they have where F bombs fly left and right and, after a while, it just sounds stupid. IglooReport allowed a lot of stuff and it turned into F-bomb laden hell in the end. So mostly for the good of the forum, though I wouldn't ban anyone over it, just keep the filter going.

If possible, I would like to take credit for his banning, but I really dont even remember that fight. I do remember a pretty decent track record of unhinged people wanting to fight with me for one reason or another.

I have no real ill feelings towards LGP. Heck - I met my husband there and made some really great friends. I'll always have a soft spot for the place. BUT I got sick of it. The posters that lost their minds when you didn't agree with them (Oh, you think differently than me? You clearly know nothing about hockey. Group Think. PlayStation. Etc.), the random heavy-handed modding that was selective based on who the mods liked (or didn't). So I left. I stayed in touch with many of the people I liked via Facebook and out in the real world.

And, some day, when I get tired of this place, I'll leave it too. That's life. No need to be a drama queen.

Yeah. Lgp isnt going away. In fact they may honestly like it that now it will be a smaller, more hockey, less non hockey related forum.

Rumor is dagny at least feels that way and is loling at us here talking about it.

I just got fed up with not only the heavy modding, but the lack of personal skills with posters from a certain mod.

Eh, Admin probably realizes he needs to be more active on the board after what's happened. I pretty much won't be a regular poster there again until Dagny is removed.

She was 100% the worst mod on the board, she sends PMs like she's helping people but all she does is Gossip. It really is trashy, especially when Admin wanted to set a standard. Dagny sucked.

*** was a ban and deal with it kind of guy, he wouldn't say anything else. Dagny would warn you and then give you 15 reasons why you didn't deserve the warning but she "had" to do it.
