The fact that he's requesting dubstep, let alone calling it dum-step shows how out of touch this guy is. Must've seen too many Penguins commercials.

Do the people who dislike dubstep hate electronic music in general or is it just the dubstep subgenre?

It's good running music. EDM, that is, not dubstep. Dubstep is too...jittery(?) for my use.

I don't have an opinion on dupstep other than using them in video is very 2011.

There have been, which is why I have been checking the sellers list for some items. It's rare that I find something that isn't available bvia Prime, however. On a related note, Amazon has been coming down hard on 3rd party vendors selling fake products. Is it me or are there far more 3rd party (no Prime shipping) operating on Amazon this Christmas season? We have 2-3 gifts with ridiculous shipping times that were ordered around Thanksgiving, and "might" get here in time for Christmas. I don't remember this ever being a problem before.

So we had a big family shindig down where my parents, brother, and sister (and their families) live. They will be heading out of town for Christmas, so we had to do our celebrating a few weeks early.
My mother insists on bringing up stories about a woman I dated 16+ years ago, shortly before meeting my wife.
My mother kept bringing up "Remember how much fun we had with <ex-gf's name from 1999> at <event x>?"
Once can be tolerated, but twice? C'mon man. My wife and family have had their issues (mostly with blaming her for me leaving the family business), so this BS doesn't help things. And this is a week after my mother pissed off my brother's wife - wait for it - for helping the family business.

Chatted with this shop earlier and told them to cancel my order; even emailed that request using their online form. Found the watch elsewhere in stock and bought it. Just received an email from the original company telling me that the watch shipped tonight, and their return policy says they will deduct shipping charges. I have a feeling that I'm going to let Citibank deal with these **** clowns so that I don't get charged a dime.My dad had me order my mom a watch for Christmas (bask in late November) so that it would be delivered to my house. Just got an e-mail today telling me that it's on backorder and they have no idea when it'll come back in stock. Two weeks before Christmas, and everywhere I have searched so far is selling it for $175 more than what I paid.

Yeah, let the credit card bank sort it out. That's dumb. And it seems like a policy crafted with a "90% of our customers won't dodint about this, so we can bank some incremental revenue" mindset.

My watch saga continues. After spending 1 hour and 30 minutes on hold, the rep I speak with informs me that the postal service picked up the package from them literally minutes prior to them finally picking up the phone. I apparently have to wait until I have the package in-hand to RMA it, and then call back and speak to a manager to figure out the refund.
