You can get it for a better price, just not today, and you have to wait, and maybe you won't.

I did mean today, yes, since this is a one-day sale. But even so, $189 < $199. The kit that you bought doesn't include the same drill or impact driver.

Not a bad socket set. I still have my Craftsman one from probably 20 years ago, and though it is incredibly rare for me to utilize it, their free replacement policy is top notch. They have never asked me how I broke the tool.

Your best bet right now is to look through the ads on https://www.bfads.net. Most places are having pre-Black Friday sales right now. For instance, Best Buy has a 70" 4K for $999 (Vizio E series, though, not M).

I'm trying to find one that has HDR and all of that. I want one that's not skimping out on some random feature to make it fall under Black Friday special.

I imagine that a large number of the BF deals are going to be 2015 models (not that this would eliminate certain features like HDR), and not of the high end variety.

Today's Deal of the Day on Amazon is a refurbished Dyson V6 Animal Cordless Vacuum for $230. Of course, this comes less than one month after I purchased the Motorhead version of this vacuum for my wife for $10 less. Anyway, the wife loves hers, but I wouldn't consider one of these for whole-house cleaning.

Also, Amazon now has a coupon code (DOT3PACK) for $20 off the purchase of 3 Echo Dot's (gen2). I want one, but am not sure it'll be useful enough for me to warrant buying three of them.

At $40, I'll be grabbing an Echo Dot on BF.

I don't know if it can do it natively, to be honest.

@mikey Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7"

It really has changed my life in a subtle but tangible way. Not saying it's the only Tablet that can do that, but it's very good.

Vizio has a presale going on right now. 2016 M65 for $1299 https://www.vizio.com/tvs/m65d0.html

Probably will not get much better than that for that TV. I'm still holding out for the Samsung UN65KS8000 65-Inch, but that Vizio is my backup.

Every year I say I'm going to buy a flat screen TV. I bought a 42 inch one in 2007 from Circuit City for 1,400.

I'm now dedicated using that until it dies because I laugh every year when I see the prices compared to what I paid at the time.

I have an 2006 50" Panasonic plasma that was 1600 at Costco and its still going strong in my basement. I love that TV despite it weighing a ton.

I'm still rocking my 2008 Samsung 61" HL61A750 rear projection led dlp. It's still a beast and I love the picture, I don't feel right getting a new TV while this is still going strong. It's so tempting, but it feels like I'm cheating on the old girl.

I had that very same HDTV (professionally calibrated, too). Loved it, but wanted something that was bigger and could handle the amount of light that my living room gets, so I replaced it with a Samsung 65" UN65H7150 that I absolutely love. If not for the light issue, and the fact that I got a great deal on the 65", I'd still have it. Sold it to my sister for pennies, so now they can enjoy it.
