the feeling when you drop something (pulling a glass out of a cabinet; cellphone; etc) and then your reaction is just to reach down and grab and before you even know it, you caught the falling object. even better if you make one attempt to catch and sort of bat it up in the air and grab it with your other hand

Why would one choose not to use a motorized can opener? That just seems crazy to me.

I usually go through one can opener every few years. I switch from one to another when i lose them during a move. I would wager that it opens 4-5 cans a week.

Well yeah exactly. It's not 1988.. that's why I was asking who wouldn't use a motorized can opener? I think we have a crank can opener laying around in case the motorized one breaks, but that's about it.
