Roland's is a pretty good seafood place in the Strip.

I'd recommend Gaucho in the Strip but that's just meat meat meat and more meat. Kaya, Eleven, Wholey's, and Luke Wholey's all might be up your alley.

The strip will have more options on buying shirts, particularly if you are looking for generic shirts

Brimming with hipsters. Too small. Service is lacking. Delicious cocktails, nice oysters. Food overpriced but tasty. Competitive happy hour

I was there last weekend and can tell you supplies are already getting thin, especially if you are looking for authentic gear.

The Strip District is good for "non-authentic" or slightly less authentic gear. i.e. a shirt that says "Pittsburgh Hockey Champs 1991, 1992, 2009, 2016" in black and gold.

Pretty much my assessment too. We've only gone for happy hour when they have deals on the oysters and drinks.

Though, the one time I think champagne was the discounted happy hour drink. Who does that?

i compare it to livermore due to proximity
i find the food at livermore to be better
i find the prices to be more agreeable at livermore
i find the staff to be 1000000x better at livermore
i think the happy hour at livermore is better (half off all food and cocktails)

You can get some pretty decent knock offs in The Strip.

I used to have a hat like that. Had the Steelers logo, but said Pittsburgh instead of Steelers.

Thanks people for your help. I arrived Tuesday around 5 and had enough time to go to Hometowne Sports (not as much as I thought), before eating at Luke Whollys. It was alright.

Next day I shopped and got what I wanted at the Pens official store in Consol, then headed again to the Strip Distirct. Definitely have some knock offs there, but nice.

I'll piggy back here... does anyone know a good place for parking downtown? I'm coming to town next week to hit up a pirates game among other things. We're going to be there for about 3 days, what would be the best option to park the car and just leave it there for the 3 days?

There is a garage on Sixth between William Penn and Smithfield that runs under Melon Square park. I haven't used it in a while but it used to be $5 a day on weekends (after 4pm on Friday). It's also kind of centrally located in the city.

I have a more single minded focus, if you know what I mean.
