I'm taking like a 20 minute break to do some work. I've pretty much been on this board since 6pm last night.

Canadian basketball player can use ‘F-word’ last name
A college basketball player in Canada was approved by his team to proudly wear his last name on the back of his jersey: F*ck.

Guilherme Carbagiale ****, a Brazilian-born 6 foot, 6 inch forward who plays for Medicine Hat College in Alberta, told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that his name is of German origins and means "fox," and pronounced, "foo-key."

Trying to both has always been tasking. Specially here at the end of the month. But the notifications feature helps identify at least the most important topics to look at during the interlude.

That's BS.... the German for fox is 'fuchs'. And I don't think when it's spelled as the f-word that the proper Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation would be 'foo-key'. It would just be f**k, but with images of Adriana Lima dancing about in your head.

OMG, I had nearly 50 posts in the first day and I'm still only halfway to MIMH/Shaf status. What the actual heck.
haha don't worry, I've been on the board nearly every waking moment trying to assist in getting it set up and established. This is not a sustainable pace
i think thats pretty close to your lgp rate.

We never kept apple juice in the fridge (or anywhere else for that matter) till we had kids.

at my sister in law's college graduation, i saw the name "F***ner" in the program before things got started. i appropriately pointed it out to her family, and we were all giddy when they finally called his name.

i have so many questions for that guy

I know we're not focusing on this but it's been almost an hour since an NHR post on LGP. That's not normal...

Just spent 90 minus troubleshooting an issue with a client at work, only for them to tell me after I've spent 90 minutes, that it's not that big of a deal and to not worry about it.

For real?

So I had to come in late today due to a family issue. I got here 3 hours after my usual start time. I asked if I could make up the 3 hours tomorrow by working from 8-7:30 instead of my usual 8-4:30. I was told that I could not because "we have no pressing needs or deadlines at the moment" and that I would have to use my PPL hours (which I am very low on). Not only do I have MORE than enough work to do that will last me well past an 11 hour day but I haven't met my weekly hours (40) yet. Am I right in thinking that this is kind of messed up on my boss' part? I understand that time out of work is my responsibility and that if I do miss time I should expect to use PPL, but I am willing to stay the extra time tomorrow to make up for it. Also keep in mind that my boss is always harping on me for not banking enough PPL and always being low.

My boss doesn't care if I work 5 hours one day due to a doc appointment or other personal matter. Her motto "As long as the work gets done, it's not a problem."

Since it sounds like you have enough work to do and aren't just coming in to make up time, seems like your boss is being a bit unreasonable.

Just go start a new company and bring over all of your good coworkers and bring back some people who were fired in the past.

Maybe he doesn't know you have enough work to make it worth you being there late? Though if it's not OT and you are just making up time I'm not sure why he would care. I'm thankful to have a very flexible boss if things come up and I have to make up time. I would say he's being a bit unreasonable, but I don't know the details of your job and boss and how things are handled that way normally so yeah haha.
