How do you define crap country?

I like a lot of the 80s/90s country but not much of the recent stuff.

Pre 9/11 country music is the best country music.

I could listen to 90s country all day. Feels like that was the era with just the right amount of non-country influence on the music.

Luke Bryan John Pardi Zack brown i don’t care. If it’s a song about drinking beer or being somewhere warm I’ll each that stuff up.

Bah, pop country and it's happy songs.

Country music should be about drunkenness, murder, hard times, bad times, trucks, trains, losin' your woman, and murdering people while drunk.

I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison…

Dammit, I forgot prison.

And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got run over by a damned old train

Here's something to root for -- Birmingham-Southern College is closing their doors this coming week. Their baseball team just clinched a trip to the D3 World Series starting next weekend. The Athletic did a really nice feature on them earlier this week and I can't imagine having to deal with the stresses of your school closing and having to find somewhere else to go while also playing at a high level with the opportunity to do damage in the postseason.

On top of that, 9 players woke up with food poisoning this morning.
