It's the forever cycle of "who's the bigger hypocrite", aka the unwinnable game. What did people want the league to do? If anything wouldn’t it be the team? I suppose if you look at it as an employer/employee relationship they could take the “does not align with the organizations values.” route but even then I highly doubt they care, they just want to win football games… the only way something would get done is if their money gets affected through losing sponsors.Yeah Butker is getting the appropriate amount of mockery. I’m sure there are corners of the internet who are giving him their appropriate amount of praise as well. It’ll be forgotten about come week 1. And I agree that it’s hilarious that people think the NFL of all leagues would take any sort of action against this.
There's that tweet calling the league hypocrites for the Kaepernick thing, and whatever story that was posted about people "they out here saying" that Butker should be cancelled/fired.
I mean, we can bring all that into the discussion, but as far as I can tell, we were just talking about how stupid his speech was. Then it spiraled because...reasons.
Also, funny post I saw, which would explain a lot, talking about how Butker is actually a closeted bi/gay guy who used to hook up with dudes in college.
