Being an alumni and former teacher from the same high school, I see some of the drama going on there from time to time on the facebooks. This one has lots of people upset:

Apparently the school officials turned a kid away from coming into prom because he had on blue jeans and a baseball hat. One of the local wanna be news loudmouths posted about it and got everyone super pissy. The school principal released a statement pretty much saying, listen... the prom is a special activity that they're informed of over and over about the dress code and what's allowed and what isn't. There's a program at the school as well that if they cannot afford attire that matches what's expected, the school will pay for it. They knew the rules, he didn't follow the rules, there are consequences for that such as not being allowed into prom.

"I bet if he wore a dress and carried in a bud light, they'd have let him right in..." This comment actually made me laugh with how serious the person is yet how satirical it sounds.

Apparently the kid also didn't have a ticket to get in and was caught trying to sneak in through the back and was asked to leave.

How many comments blaming the education system for that idiotic move (sneaking in while clearly not dressed for the part) lol

Minus the Bud, of course he would have been let in because it would have been formal wear.

That part is 100% ignored. Hard to treat the kid like a victim of an oppressive education system if you consider the fact that he wasn’t allowed in no matter what he wore.

Hearing about the Kardashian boos at the Tom Brady roast made me check into whether her much-celebrated career as a lawyer has gone anywhere since she started school in 2019:
Reality star Kim Kardashian reportedly may have put her dreams of being a lawyer “on pause” after the reality television star found herself being pulled in too many directions, according to an unsubstantiated source for The Sun.

“Last year she slowly realized how tedious it was and how never-ending the study was...She really struggled with the study, hated having to do the outlines and essays required to even be at a competent level and it was going to take her a few years of study to pass the exams and a few likely fails,” the source told The Sun."
Gee. :pop:

I know way too much about the Kardashians thanks to my wife and yes, they are as terrible as you think they are. But, and this is a Kardashian-sized butt, Kim actually does do good work for the wrongly convicted. I never understood her pursuit of being a lawyer, though. I think that was more for the show than anything else. Her role in that should be to bring awareness, not to be the one actually trying the cases. As much as I dislike that family, this is one area where Kim actually uses her celebrity for good.
