Gonna be better than halfway decent.

Najee and Warren going to go nuts this year

Awesome. Gimme CB, DL, or ILB with the next two picks. Arthur Smith is big on 2 TE sets, 2 TE and 2 RB sets, 3 TE sets. Another WR really isn't a priority.

You guys realize neither of these first two picks will start until at least week 6

Loving the offensive line upgrades.

Hopefully the retread QBs can be competent enough that the RBs aren't running into a 10-man box.

Don't forget... Broderick Jones was an instant upgrade, too, but it still took him awhile to get into the lineup.

Both of these guys should be starting, but I've also read O-line coach Meyer teaches some weird techniques that take awhile to learn. It kinda makes sense since some talented FAs come in and struggle until halfway through the season (Daniels/Seumalo). Can't remember where I read that, though...

Fantanu is older and has significantly more college experience than Jones did. Frazier has no competition at his position. Plug and play seems natural with them.

Meyer preaches aggressiveness. That's not the norm in today's NFL, especially in pass protection. You need special players to be aggressive. Long, tall athletes. He doesn't want his tackles taking 3 drop steps in pass protection before contact. I get the idea he's way old school when it comes to O line play and him being able to hand pick at least 3/5ths of his presumed starting O line (especially the two tackles) you'll see a huge improvement.

Another great pick

If the other Wilson, Payton Wilson, falls to 98, I think you gotta take him. Injury history but the dude is a freak ILB

First round talent and injury history. Definitely worth taking a shot in the late 3rd.

Yep. Impact player if he can stay on the field. People will talk about his closing speed and athleticism, but watching his highlights he's like the anti-DevinBush. He diagnoses plays very quickly and does not stay blocked...when you can block him. He's almost slippery in run defense, but doesn't get out of position. He also seems comfortable in coverage.

Obviously the injury history is a pretty big concern, but boy howdy if he stays healthy. Him and Queen in the middle...giddyup.

Pretty amazing complement to Roberts where he can come in on passing downs to start the season.

So from last year’s 10-7, WC losing team.

QB - upgrade (large)
RB - flat, team strength
WR - flat / upgrade imo, diontae/robinson are not big losses to me
TE - flat, potential upgrade if psu dodint stays healthy
OL - upgrade (large)

DL - unclear, not sure what heyward is, he could be washed
OLB - flat, team strength
ILB - can’t overstate how much of an upgrade this is. Guys off the couch were playing last year
CB - upgrade, full year of JPJ and Jackson is an upgrade over the Peterson. And the slot was junk last year, so even if it’s junk again, that’s a wash
S - another significant upgrade

They are still likely that 9-11 win range, but if they make the playoffs, they will actually be able to win a game
