From my limited and bad understanding. A sect of almost cultish Jewish people in NYC dig tunnels under buildings so they could meet during COVID. The tunnels have destabilized building/s and caused them to be condemned. The cultish sect is largely left to do their own policing and various other things because they’re a large voting block and have used that power previously to crush people. They’ve also invaded school birds to defund them despite not sending any of their kids to public schools.

Yeah, they were one segment of the population that went absolutely insane when COVID social restrictions were put in place.

The explanations in the times story seem to imply that they tunnels were to "study" in or something. Absolutely insane to accept that explanation and print it.

This is an immensely troubling thing imo. One of the military YT channels I follow was talking about this a couple days ago, so the information might not be accurate now. But if I have this right, not only did Austin not tell anyone upstream (POTUS), he did all this while the Deputy SecDef was on vacation in Puerto Rico and she was also unaware of the medical goings on. The DoD chain is command was broken for a time.

And I'm also not sure if I'm cool that they're having uniformed officers as spox running interference for political appointees through this.

This is a vry bad look imo, esp with all the fuss about readiness following the Tuberville stunt.
