Best case scenario, he comes back and wins the MVP and the Super Bowl and his leg becomes so powerful that he can help SpaceX become the first space thing to colonize Mars just to watch this board implode haha

Re Rodgers again
I believe the surgery is also similar to the one Kobe Bryant had done.
Every patient is different, of course. And he's a grown-ass man (ass man......) and is capable of making decisions for himself. What's more, the Jets are a franchise that has shown a proclivity towards selecting the least smart of the array of options before them. So if the QB they've leveraged their immediate future on has a doctor that's willing to sign off on letting the guy play NFL football after three weeks of athletic rehab 100 days after rupturing his Achilles tendon, I say more power to all involved.

Rodgers is the one that's (possibly) not following the science here. It has been around 80 days since he ruptured his heel; even with the repair/rehab that's more aggressive in its timeline, 'the science' is that he's still another 60-80 days removed from doing pro sports again. Akers injured himself over the summer, and returned to play in I think either the final regular season game or the first playoff game that year. Either way, that's like 5 months, so Rodgers is pushing things on that end considerably.Folks only "trust the science" when it's convenient for their point of view...

Or it could be a cheap attention grab. I don't really care, I'm just interested in the medical part of it because not that long ago this was 9 mos to a full year of recovery and rehab. And I think more than half of players who suffered a full rupture never actually made a roster again after surgery.

Jaelan Phillips tore his Achilles during the Black Friday game. What's crazy is that he was mic'ed up for Hard Knocks, and was one of the featured players that week. In fact, they had him ISO'ed during the play where his Achilles popped. He was walking around before the play, ready for his "get off" and he was kind of looking at his leg. The Jets hiked the ball, he took a step, and went right down. Scary stuff...all on video. I don't see the actual Hard Knocks clip on YouTube (yet? Or did they take it down already?) but it was all captured on an NFL films camera.

Ever get so busy you start something and then forget to finish it?
Clicked on:
Cowboys line
Over
Lamb TD
Pollard TD
And forgot to hit submit.
Sigh

He and roethlisberger have definitely been the worst recent qbs in this category.Good, come on back. As bad as that Jets o-line is and your diminished mobility, you’ll get popped again in no time.
He might be the most narcissistic diva in the NFL since T-O and Ochocinco retired. But then, media outlets have a big blame in that.

How long has Dak Prescott used "Here we go!" at the line of scrimmage? It has a real Sloth from Goonies "Hey you guys" vibe imo. Really annoying when watching condensed highlights with him saying it every 5 seconds or so.

2023 "OMAHA"
I've honestly only noticed it this year; we've been to Cowboys camp and seen him practice, and I don't remember hearing it in person. They have a new OC this year (Brian Schottenheimer), and HC MMc has taken over offensive play calling duties, so I don't know if the cadence change is related to that in some way.
It reminds me of the Blue Angels Boss who uses similar cadence over the radio during demonstrations to keep things together. "Up weee gooooooooo, a little more puuuulllllll....." and suchlike.

The kangaroo had an intro to business class with Joe Flacco at Pitt in 2003. Hard to wrap my head around the idea of getting hit by 300 pound people at this age.
