I got a warning after calling out a certain poster in PR that hated Scuderi & Spaling... I should've just stuck to gifs.

And I think the turning point was dagny going to the Anaheim game, being super-excited by the game, & then going back to the site to read all the name-calling & such in the GDT for the game. I think that was the final straw that caused the massive pushback. Like I said, I was the next GDT starter, and so I pm'ed dagny to ask about it... I pm'ed a few of you with a couple details, but here's a little more (still refraining from posting the full thing out of respect). This is what dagny sent back to me. It's nothing overly critical or anything, so I don't really mind posting some of it.

I was at the game last night, it was a GOOD game. When I got home and just STARTED reading the thread, it's a disaster from start to finish. It's like that all over the board...

We're barely modding because it's such a chore these days. Enough with the chance after chance right now. A heavy hand, a culling is in order. People do not have to agree, they just have to discuss the viewpoints in a civil and respectful manner. It's not required, per se, to always be positive in gdts, but being constructive is what's desired. New hockey fans used to come here to LEARN. I am ashamed at how this board looks right now. I'm tired of the quality posters not coming here, or posting here anymore because the threads devolve into playground talk...

I like dagny, netwolf, & so on. I feel bad for Admin. A town order thread or something should've occurred, not a silent undercover removal. But, well... *shrug*.

I have 3 people blocked there. Hugo Stiglitz, Murphydump, and Chirpingrinder. Honestly about the time those guys came around I all but quite posting in PR. Considering most every thread I open up, up there has half the page made up of blocked posts from those guys it made it unreadable and not fun. And when they were not blocked it was horrid because their posts always devolved into silly name calling or stubborn refusal to see any other point of view. If learning is one of the reasons LGP exists well it takes 2 to learn and 2 to look at multiple view points. When it's stubborn hardheaded name calling that's not out fault.
