Really looking forward to this. Jagr was the reason I became a Pens fan in the early 90s.

The wife and I will be in 224 C. I'll have my 2001 Jagr black alternate (I think the skating Penguin with the gold was the alternate that year) with the C. She'll have my Crosby rookie year jersey, also black.

I have two blank robo pens jerseys one black
One white. The black one I think has blood on it from playing hockey 20+ years ago. Probably will wear the white one.

Both jerseys fit me way better than the newer ones.

Yeah CCM and KOHO were part of the same umbrella corporation. If it’s a Jagr 3rd jersey, it should be KOHO as that’s the manufacturer that was on the jersey during the one and only year he wore it.

Actually I think KOHO did the black skating penguins Vegas gold jersey while CCM did the white versions until both switched to Reebok for Sid’s rookie year.

You better believe it. I think I have one non-CCM or Koho and it's my Hornqvist one.

I remember the switch. I ordered an authentic Crosby jersey the day after he was selected by the Penguins and it’s a KOHO, never been worn. My authentic Crosby Rimouski jersey is a Reebok.

#mikeywatch update

Train from NYC to EWR was held up partially because a disgruntled, gangland youth was walking abrasively up and down the aisles, bumping into folks. Then turned and socked some lady in the face.

So, we were held for police activity. Happened one seat in front of us.

Otherwise, set my EWR for security - 8 minutes.

Getting a bloody right at my gate. Standby.

Robo jerseys were a different story. A lot of different brands made consumer versions. CCM, Starter, Pro Player, even Maska would’ve made pigeon jerseys. You can definitely find authentics in any brand, though the on ice product would’ve been CCM except 97-2000 when it was Starter.

So, you definitely don’t have poor person versions. Those are solid. I actually prefer the colors on the Pro Player versions of the gradient jersey even though it’s not 100% accurate to the on ice version.
