seems pointless to single out Jarry tonight

I didn't catch the 3rd, but with average goaltending they still enter the 3rd up 2-0. Maybe they blow that lead anyway..

We played like **** tonight but it would be nice for our well played goaltender to steal a single **** game for this team. If the rest of the team isn’t on top of their game, they lose. Simple as that.

And we have no way to sustain or seize momentum because of the PP. Could’ve put tonight’s NJ lineup away early.

Yup. The back breaker was the dogshit second goal right after we went up.

Apparently it doesn’t matter whom NJ suits up. They’re missing how many important players? This was an incredible opportunity that our guys couldn’t afford to miss.

Are players-only, closed-door meetings still a thing? Because this game was POCDM bad vs. a division opponent.

That's very fair. But the team ate a big ol turkey dinner before the game and washed it down with some Nyquil. It happens...Devils were trying to break a slide themselves...we got a deuce this weekend to rebound with...

Been there, have a frame of reference. Thanksgiving, maybe 25 years ago. Closest I’ve ever been to a medically induced coma. So, explains a lot.

Yeah, that’s good. I feel the schedule the first few weeks of the season didn’t help the team at all. It was bad loss, sit and stew in it for 2-3 days, repeat, etc.

That game was on par with the Blues game for how sloppy they treated the puck. They had a number of good looks when it was 2-2 but as soon as Bratt got that 3rd goal, it was nighty-night.

Bad games happen for all teams during an 82 game season, but the main takeaway from this - at least for me - is that the power play is inexcusably bad and something has to change. It should be their biggest strength, and right now it's their biggest weakness. It's just unacceptable how bad it's been this season so far, and they will go nowhere if it remains that way.

all i'm certain about is that last night was worse than st. louis and that not only are josh getzoff and steve mears somehow much better on the radio than they are on television i'd prefer mears and errey to getzoff and colby

I kinda figured they'd have a bad game last night. Disappointed ? Yes I was. Upset ? Nah. It's just 1 game. It's not like they lost the SC or anything. I usually give them until the first of the year before I start getting nervous.
