So let's see....they gave up 2 points to the shitty Blackhawks on opening night and they gave up 2 points to a plucky but still blah Quacks team. *looks at schedule* Hmmm, Sharks up next and they're winless. What could POSSIBLY happen?

anyway, that ending was laughably bad. It was funny too because when the 5 on 3 started I was like “oh well, at least we’re guaranteed a point”

Dubas gotta consider moving on from Sullivan. He turned over half the roster and the same exact issues are plaguing this team again. He has no answers on how to fix anything

Yep. They always say "you can't fire the whole team" when a coach gets fired. Well, Dubas basically did fire half of the roster. And the same things still happening.

It’s very Bylsma esque at this point.

He’s a much better coach but he’s got no answers at all. And don’t say the roster isn’t good enough

Looking at everything that transpired, it all went down as I imagined, all the way down to OP whistling “Sweet Georgia Brown” and Vatrano scoring.

The only upside I can fathom is that this game makes our boys so incandescently angry, that this flips a switch.

I'm not sure that turning over the half the roster is the thing that props up Dubas at the expense of Sullivan.

You look at what's going on...right? You see a team that flat out dominated Anaheim for the overwhelming majority of the game. 42 shots and 3 posts. They had half of that.

No finish. And it'd be nice to get a save on one of those.

I get the "you can't fire the team" thing...but this roster is a roster that missed the playoffs three months ago. The adds: Graves and Acciari have been just about two of our worst players this year. Nieto has been a zilch. Karlsson has been good. Eller has been good. But the whole "it's a brand new roster...what gives?!?!" stuff is pretty detached from the reality of it...

Very similar embarrassing games like this occurred all last year. It didn’t do it then, it’s not gonna do it now.

Yes. Poor shot selection is what leads to them not finishing their chances.

Bottom 6 scores the go ahead goal, and your stars yak up the lead then blow it... WHILE ON A TWO MAN ADVANTAGE
