Thanks for finding that. I don't view that as anything out of the ordinary. He's saying that they can exit the zone, they can't get it back. It feels like they start in their own territory quite a bit too...so advancing it three lines like they're doing (it seems), is pretty much great for this group...

I think Eller is the positive force here. I felt that Harkins' unpredictability wasn't really a match for what was going on there. I don't think they have the speed to recover from a goofball. So, they quickly dumped him off.

I think DOC can be fine as the third guy on that line perhaps. But they'll need a second man. Right now, it's Zohorna...I was pretty unimpressed by his passing game once again...but we'll see if they can find a rhythm.

Then...just play 9F and 4D with a couple of PK specialists basically...at least until we can find something to do with the bottom line. It's one of those annoying things where someone like Letang has to go out there with the bottom six in order for them to have a chance. Karlsson doesn't have time for them and won't babysit them...only Letang can save them and he can't save both of them if they take regular shifts...

And by the way, the power play is getting tons of chances. They can't score because they don't have good enough finishers nor do they have a good enough net front presence. It's the same situation as last year

Yes, agreed. During the games though, the narrative is more like…”the other team’s goalie is standing on his head” or “their goalie stole that one!”

Well its been happening to us for a few years it seems. We just can’t finish as well as you’d think given the pieces on the roster.
