and CDS for as good as he was is still CDS.
Ain’t that the truth
Remember in the second period when they were talking about CDS starting over Jarry in the playoffs? Good times

Being at that game was fantastic. Don't know how many thriller caps/pens games we're gonna get.

Couple things stood out. POJ handled the puck like a grenade at times. Granlund looks like he skates in something worse than mud. Mantha plays like a nancy for being that big.

Granlund skates like I imagine a Boston Dynamics robot would. His limbs look to be going in four different directions and he falls over as easily as a cat

Wicked wrister. The only thing that would have made that goal better is if it were Oshie who had his pocket picked.

Yea not getting 2 points out of that game would have been catastrophic

So he’s an older, more expensive Sheary?

I heard it somewhere and not saying he’s the same player, but he skates alot like Dominic Simon (and currently his production is very Simon like)

That being said, I didn’t like Rust’s game last night that much. Hes working hard but hes really gripping the stick tight. I wouldn’t be opposed to throwing Granlund on the top line to get him going and have Rust go to the third. I like the idea of Rust commanding a line and maybe getting back to more of the game he’s good at and less perimeter driven

Is “falling over as easily as a cat” an actual expression? Cats don’t fall over easily.

He’s a $5 million dollar Dominik Simon right now. I always liked him but not seeing anything out of him right now other than a nice pass or two each game.

For two people that seemed genuinely excited by the play that developed, that was a terrible call.

The formula is to pick a Penguin you don't like and just say Granlund is the $5M version of thatPenguin. Style of play not relevant

Mikael Granlund is like Evan Rodrigues if Evan Rodrigues were somebody else.
