He was feeling it in the SO too. Making saves out in front of the paint. Maybe he's usually that aggressive, but I don't remember seeing him out there shutting it down like that before

He’s not aggressive in the shootout which is why he was shitty at them for so long. Chiodo must be using cattle prods on him or something.

They lost their luster once teams realized that 3 on 3 was all about possession. Remember how fun and wide open 3 on 3 OT used to be? Now teams will circle out of the offensive zone, pass it back to the D or goalie, try to gain the zone again, then circle back when there’s nothing there, then pass it back, rinse and repeat. I don’t know how true this is but it feels like that has lead to more shootouts.
