It is absolutely asinine that when two teams are tied the team with most points in head to head games does not win the tiebreaker. In fact that’s 5th.

Using regulation victories as the no 1 tiebreaker is the first semi-right thing NHL did since creating the idiotic extra point reward for winning the game in OT (which goes opposite to any idea of fairness, or rewarding for creating offense)Nope. Caps have to at least get taken to OT in one game

Washington is sitting guys so it doesn't seem to be that important to them
