I mean that's a bad hit if it's in the normal course of play. It's the exact sht that we need to get rid of imo. 5+ games.

It’s a 5-10 gamer. Run that back 10 times, and 7 or 8 of them end with Friedman breaking his body.
The puck was in the net already. It’s not Hunter on Turgeon but this is a big big no no.

Wilson losing his **** in a big dog pile scrum vs ghost taking a cheap shot on a totally unsuspecting player going top speed into the boards, yeah i could go along with Ghosts being the more dastardly of the two, in this particular situations..

idk. Panarin didn't have a helmet on. Friedman had a higher chance for injury but Panarin could've been seriously, seriously hurt if his head hit the wrong way

that said, they're both bad, but I'm not expecting much punishment. Unless the NHL is freaking out about people being mad at the Wilson-fiasco, in which case the Wheel of Justice is going to heavily favor suspending Ghost for 30 games next season

Why do the Flyers gave it in for ex teammate Friedman? I mean their franchise waived him.... he’s no star player, was he some sort of clubhouse cancer? Did he bang their wives/gfs and then put anti freeze in their pets’ water dishes? Puzzling to me.

He must not have been a popular guy...as this has not been isolated...
I mean, he's a stickler of a player...and one that doesn't get into the lineup a lot...so he probably practices hard, harder than a lot of pros would like...I can't imagine it's too much more than that...I mean, we all have various degrees of friends that are like "always super fun to hang out with" down to "in small doses", he's probably on the latter side of the scale too...

He talked **** on Philly or the Flyers when he signed with the Pens.
that would surprise me if that was it. these guys are grown ups when the game ends. and it's not like many of them have a deep attachment to the city, and the flyers in general aren't a prideful group.
i think he could have just been a dick who didn't know his place at practice, and would be an annoying try hard who would go too far with the team leaders.
but ghost doesn't risk a big ole suspension because he says he likes his new home better than his old.

I heard some scuttle butt about he and the Flyers not getting along. Not sure if the bad blood is between he and some players or he and the org. Big difference. Either way, he’s all over the ice when we play them so cool beans

Way worse. The Wilson stuff happens kinda frequently although I think they should have looked at the breadman hair pull

The flyers have had a visceral reaction to his presence so I have a feeling he might be a real dick. Doubt "annoying in practice" triggers that kind of response.

Yeah, no argument. But I never buy the wife banging stuff. I just don’t know what could make them lose their minds. It ain’t because he didn’t like the Liberty Bell tour or whatever.
