I posted the conditions on the previous page but it got lost in the shuffle of arguing about threads.
I do like the trade more and more by the minute. People that think he becomes a full time center are wrong, but he does help make a real life top 9.
Oddly enough they're on this page.
Edit: Damn it. Now they are on the other page because this post isn't on the page with your conditions or mikey's post.

I was only surprised because two years ago we traded him for the same fourth round pick we traded for him two years earlier. I hope we trade Eric Hjorth for him. And he probably is the second tallest player in the league.

On Carter retiring if traded... 2 year old article but "Then, just as we were about to move on, with a very serious facial expression and a near death stare back, Carter added, “And I never talked about retiring either. That never came out of my mouth.”"
Maybe the retire if traded thing is just one of those things that fans grab onto and never let go even if shown that it was not correct.

I like Jake Virtanen. Always seemed like a decent fantasy option on an absolutely butt mud team when it came to defense.

I don't know where he goes.. When healthy (hahahaha) we have Rust, Kapanen, Carter, Jake, Zucker, McCann, ZAR and Tanev at wing. I'm not inclined to scratch any of those 8 for him

I went to the same local bar in south Jersey like every Friday of my mid 20’s.
Carter and Richards had a long running thing with a couple of bar tenders there. The hookups were brokered by Richards’ coke dealer. Carter’s girl was convinced they had a future together. I haven’t checked his Wikipedia but I don’t think they made it work.
They didn't. My buddy in Philly dated a bartender who used to hookup with Carter. She was trash, glad he eventually dumped her

Brian Burke just said that "we made a deal with LA contingent on Jeff Carter reporting to us"...which more than winks at the notion that he might have bailed on things if he didn't get his way...
