I don't know if this is something GMJR considered - or that her should, for that matter - but I think it's fair to say that the fans needed something to get excited about and, sadly, this was certainly one way to do it.

Yeah part of it is maybe it's not great to banish a guy to the AHL for the last three years of his career?
