For anyone that has done this in the past, how long did you wait in line? Did you get there at the beginning of the window? Did anyone get turned away if they were in line? Any other tips you could share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone go this year? It was pretty neat going through the lockerroom this year. Had all the trophies again. Was longer than last year, but still worth the wait for me and the family.

I went today and the wait was 4 hours, but it was awesome to see all the trophies, the locker room, and Suite 66. Probably the first and last time I'll ever be in there.

I went early on Saturday, getting there about 30 minutes before the door opened. Although the line stretched down Centre and around the corner on Washington Pl, it moved quickly once the doors opened. We were done in just over an hour. The 40% at Pens Gear was nice, got myself a Sprong Jersey.
Really liked the lockerroom tour, nice tour this year.

I went yesterday afternoon and appreciated the Suite 66 and locker room additions. I'd never been in either before.
It took us about 3.5 hours, and there were lots of discontent yinzers around us grumbling about the wait time. The one guy kept complaining to any staff member he saw about how we were treated like cattle and how dehumanized he felt. I'm not sure what he was expecting.

We went Saturday morning and we were right on at like 3.5 hours. The only thing I thought they should have done differently was allowing for water to be taken down onto the floor. Seemed weird that they had no vendors open considering how long it actually took.I went yesterday afternoon and appreciated the Suite 66 and locker room additions. I'd never been in either before.

Other than that? Was an absolute blast.

Yeah, not allowing food/drinks on the floor seems overly restrictive, especially since it took quite a while even after you reached the floor. They did have one nacho stand open when we were there...don't know why there weren't more.We went Saturday morning and we were right on at like 3.5 hours. I'm not really sure how they could significantly improve the actual movement of the line.

They could do a fast-pass style system where you are given a return time rather than standing in a 3.5 hour line. Glad you guys had a good time but I don't know if I could handle that long of a queue.Yeah, not allowing food/drinks on the floor seems overly restrictive, especially since it took quite a while even after you reached the floor. I personally didn't mind the 3.5 hour wait. I left hungry - but rectified that later. There were people with little kids there, no idea how anyone was able to control them even after an hour wait.

Saturday afternoon - 4 hours passed before I got to the Cup.
The bottleneck was the locker room. It was cool, you went in through Suite 66, so you saw all of Mario's awards. But the layout isn't designed for masses of people walking through.

We didn't get the locker room tour last year. We got there before doors opened and it took us overall less than 45 minutes combined waiting for doors to open and to get the picture with the Cup.
Couldn't make it out this year, but sounds like the locker room and Suite 66 added to the wait time.

I don't think so, or at least not much. It was just somewhere else to be in line rather than in the hallway of the CEC or in lines on the floor. Last year I stood forever in the hall before getting to the stairs to get onto the floor. This year the first time I had to stop walking was just outside of Suite 66, so there was more stuff to do while waiting, not a longer wait.We didn't get the locker room tour last year.
