I’m saying we’re worse. I’m not saying anything about rebuilding.Mcginn isn't much different from Tanev and in some ways better. If you're talking about rebuilding because you lost jared mccann and Cody ceci, I'm not sure what to tell you.

As long as this team is paying ZAR it’s not time for a rebuild.

McCann stinks when it matters. But it’s also nice when Sid doesn’t have to do the heavy lifting in December games. He’s at least …something. And also had the toolkit to at least possibly luck his way into success after April.

We lost Ceci, McCann and Tanev and only got McGinn in return. The roster is not tangibly worse than last year and they won the damn division. Everyone settle dahn.
Tread water until the big dogs come back. Might have to make Jake play center early.
Although Sullivan has his favorite chew toys rodrigues and simon... one of them could end up being our #1 center.
That is what they call: Tangibly worse
Your 5/6 D, and two of your 7-9 F? Not really. That's like losing a $10 bill, finding a $5, and claiming that you are tangibly poorer.

You’re right. $5 doesn’t count as “tangible”. Who could even measure such a thing? And how?

Sully has historically done a great job squeezing out wins in the absence of talent.

Probably the same way one would measure loosing Ceci, McCann, and Tanev, while signing McGinn and Heinen.
But then who would measure that and call it tangible worse either?

No no…I mean is there even a unit of measurement available to account for $5? How do people keep track of money? You’re right. $5 doesn’t count as “tangible”. Who could even measure such a thing? And how?

What happened to john Mascipalo? According to Google he doesn't exist so I assume Mascipalo is not his name.

There are quite a few games where I would use the word "lost" with McCann.losing Ceci makes us a worse team but ideally Marino will take a step
I don't think I'd use the word "lost" with McCann

He contributed plenty when the games weren’t of high consequence yet it was still important to accumulate points.ding ding dingMcCann never did any heavy liftingMcCann stinks when it matters. 2 points in December still matters and he was able to help us get them in a meaningful way. It’s just that he was dogshit when it was critical he wasn’t.

Intangibles beat tangibles when the tangibles are intangible.Sully has historically done a great job squeezing out wins in the absence of talent.
Or something like that. I suppose we could find Jonathan Toews and ask him.
This off-season somehow has managed to feel like an eternity.
